We attended the Frankfurt Book Fair 2016. CPI had Jonathan Huddart, Head of Sales and Neil Clarke, Account Director on hand to speak with fellow exhibitors and visitors. The event was an opportunity for the duo to meet with new or existing clients from across the globe, as well as to gain insight on the current trends for the industry.
The Frankfurt Book Fair is an annual fair that runs for five days, with three of those days restricted exclusively to trade visitors; while the general public can attend on the last two. This year the book fair took place on 19th October – 23rd October, the Fair attracts around 7,100 exhibitors from more than 100 countries.
This is the second largest trade fair for books based on number of visitors after the Turin International Book Fair. The 2016 Frankfurt book fair received an estimated 270 000 visitors at this year’s event, with an estimated 142,300 trade visitors making up this number.
We thoroughly enjoy attending this event each year and 2016 was no different.
